Halfdays is opening a retail store in Denver and we are looking to hire a full-time, Retail Store Manager. This role will be expected to work in person at our retail location. In this position, you will own the day-to-day operations of the retail store and lead a team of staff while communicating Halfdays' brand values through a community-driven approach, expert product knowledge, and a positive outlook!
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage all aspects of retail operations for this store - including inventory management, scheduling, staffing, cleanliness, preparations, and more.
- Learn and develop a true understanding of the Halfdays brand and customer base.
- Help coach and empower the retail staff.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure the seamless flow of retail operations.
- Work with your team to report on results and find new efficiencies.
- Responsible for establishing customer relationships and driving sales.
- Contributing to a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
- Welcoming clients into our space, and educating them on our products.
- Keeping the store organized, clean, and shoppable.
- Providing our guests with a seamless experience from door to checkout.
Operational Tasks:
- Ensure the sales floor is stocked
- Track and order inventory and supplies
- Create and maintain Retail Associate schedules ensuring proper staff coverage
- Ensure the retail store is cleaned on a regular basis
- Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of previous retail management or supervisor experience
- Familiarity with Shopify preferred
- Proven comfort in a fast-paced environment is necessary
- Must be available to work weekends and some holidays
- Must adhere to scheduled shifts with punctuality
- Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues
- Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns
- Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
- Strong organizational skills and follow through skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Eager to develop new skills and responsive to feedback
Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000
